Dates and Times to meet to prepare the UA garden

Hello all!

If anyone would like to volunteer to help with the garden, here are our meeting days and times that we will be preparing the plot for the spring:

Wednesday: 10/19/11 from 4-5:45
Thursday:  10/20/11 from 4-5:45

Location:  Behind the pavilion to the left of the practice lacrosse field behind Haggar

We would recommend that anyone volunteering would bring the following:

1. Wear sweatpants (jeans might be better since they won't snag on branches)- it might get a bit chilly and there are also few bugs down there!
2. Gloves- if you have any bring some so that you wont get cut
3. Black trash bags- if you have any extra ones that we could use
4. Old brooms- if you happen to have any
5. Closed toe shoes- :) to protect your toes

Thank you for your interest!

UA Permaculture Awareness Club

Welcome!

Welcome to the UA Permaculture Awareness Club blog!

Here we will be posting updates on the Ursuline Academy community garden, promoting sustainable lifestyles through learning how to tend and grow our own fresh, organic produce for the community.

Please check back every week to see our updates!  We hope to get the garden up and running to plant seeds in the spring of 2012.

Thank you, and see you soon :)
